After dropping A off at school and driving down the street, I got a phone call. I answered it and a cute little voice said, “Mom, I forgot my project at home in the living room. Can you bring it for me? I’m sorry.” Since it is her first time forgetting anything this year, and this is an important project, I brought it to her. I ran back home and managed to get it back to her before school started.
Later on, I have bible study with my friend, Y. We do lectio divina together over zoom.
Today is my anniversary with my husband. Our marriage has been beautiful- a gift from God that I am so thankful for. We celebrated last weekend by going to lunch at a restaurant I like and going to the fabric store. And I gave my husband his gift, which was a lego build of a dog, and he spent the weekend building it. He loves Lego.
I recently joined a textile art group. I am not a good textile artist, to be honest. I have very little experience with textiles. But I’m hoping with this group, I’ll have some artistic fellowship and a chance to get better and to see good art by other people.
I had my follow up with the cardiologist a few days ago. The good news is there’s nothing seriously wrong with me. I have a small heart issue that isn’t dangerous at all. And if I take beta blockers, it will prevent me from having symptoms. So all is well that ends well.
