We lost power around 3 am. We couldn’t get the generator on until close to 4 pm. The generator can’t run the ac or the stove or most of our outlets, so I’m hoping this is the one and only day of no power, but we’ll see. The storm swung south, so it wasn’t as bad as it was supposed to be. Mentally it’s a struggle, but I haven’t cracked yet. At least the ceiling fans are running.

We just got power back! Already! I’m so happy.
Last night, before the power went out, I printed fifty photographs and digital collages I have made onto instax square photos. It’s a fresh way for me to present my digital collages in a format I love, and it makes them feel more real.
I posted a few videos of them on tiktok. I still can’t believe I’m on tiktok. I post more than I explore it. I only have a few followers, but I’ve gotten more views and likes than I would have expected.
