The first of C’s Father’s Day gifts arrived! It’s a lego set where you build a gumball machine. I hope he loves it. He’s already starting to build it. His second lego kit is supposed to arrive on Thursday, the day my inlaws go home. I love to see him happy. I try not to buy them too often for him because he hates spending money on him (when he shouldn’t feel bad at all), but this year I just had to get him two. Obeying my husband is important, but sometimes I have to bend the rules to make him smile.
Yesterday we got pizza, and today we went out to my favorite restaurant. On the special menu they had peanutbutter cookie cheesecake. Of course, I had to order it! Scrumptious!
Later this afternoon we might go to the museum, but I don’t really feel like it. I want to make collages – something I’ll be posting about soon. I’m developing a bit of a new methodology.
