I was on amazon late one night when I shouldn’t have been, and I absolutely loved these composition books I saw with rainbow pages inside. They came 6 to a pack. So I gave one to my daughter, and the others I’m going to use to take notes in my personal curriculum.
On top of the composition book are glitter highlighters for Bible journaling. Beneath the composition books I have flourescent gouache. I just love all the rainbow colors on this picture.
I’m still planning my fall semester even though we’re a little bit into September. I’ll have one subject for each color in each book. I know I probably want to start with Hildegarde of Bingen, as research my Confirmation saint. I’d like to know more about her. I should make my final choices tomorrow.
I feel tired but excited to explore the universe from my sanctuary. I’d like to continue my study of horror, but honestly, I read so many books on the writing of horror and the history of horror this past year, and I’m not sure how much is left to cover. That’s not to say I know everything there is to know about writing horror. But I’ve read a lot of books on the subject and learned a few things insofar as you can learn a skill without practicing it. I may dive into writing some horror. I have a short story in mind called “The Registration Fairy.”
