Raptor Red is the story of a Utahraptor. It’s scientifically rich, wildly imaginative, very heart stirring, and super unique. It’s an entire novel told from the perspective of a female Utahraptor. Raptor Red is her name. The author truly drew me in not only with the fantastic premise, but with character development that made me love Raptor Red and emotionally invested in her life. It is difficult to explain the thoughts of a creature with no language, but he succeeds. Robert Bakker’s book is cheap on Amazon for ereader copies. Definitely a deal worth jumping on. This is a book I will reread someday. I plan to buy a hard copy too.
I’ve been a dinosaur nut since Jurassic Park came out when I was a little girl. I’m so glad to have crossed paths with this book.
