I’m part way through 3 books right now.
This one is exciting because while I have read some old chinese poetry in school years ago, I have not read that much contemporary Chinese poetry. Of course, to be fair, American schools don’t teach American contemporary poetry, either. But I am finding poets with provocative images that I enjoy.
I could see myself joining a cloister in another life. This book is the one I am furthest along in. So much wisdom from our cloistered sisters!
I am enjoying this volume. There are writers in here that I already know, of course, but there are writers that I didn’t. Of the three, it is probably my least favorite (I like all of them though) but I am not super far into it, so maybe I’ll change my mind.
