Fun Weeks

I had bible study with my friend Y over zoom, I hosted a watch party with my friend A, and I hung out with someone new (N). I got to hang out with L my neighbor, and J too. What a busy couple of weeks. For me, that is a social whirlwind.

Next week I hang out with my mom and make art over Facetime. And I hang with J. Additionally, I have a dr appointment this week to follow up on my blood work. Hopefully I’ll make myself go to the store one day, too.

I want to rest as well. I’m extremely introverted, so even though I love my friends’ company, if I’m spending time with them I need time alone too. And my body is just tired. I told the doctor about my constant tiredness and she wrote Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in my notes, but didn’t say anything to me about it. I’m not sure if that’s something I have or if she just meant to describe it as a symptom. But I get tired. Easily worn out. And sometimes pain keeps me up.

Today we went to a beach we haven’t gone to before. I loved it. I took a short video for my channel.

Isn’t the water beautiful? And the adorable little family? It was so peaceful. I took a lot of photos on my instax mini 99. I might post some of those later. It was hard to get on and off the beach with my ankles as they are. But I’m glad I went.

Now I need to design the coming week. Making art is a priority, as is catching up with laundry and cleaning the bathroom. I’d like to read a horror novel. I think I’ll read Ghost Camera. I enjoyed a collection of short stories by the author, Darcy Coates, so maybe I will enjoy a full length work. I don’t read too many novels anymore. I focus on poetry and short stories and nonfiction. But I need to stay mentally sharp and flexible.
